Rebecca Wells, the much loved Louisiana actress, playwright, and author, will do a performance reading of her short story from the new anthology Best of LSU Fiction. Ms. Wells is a committed, vocal  activist in the crusade against wars.

The author has graciously accepted our invitation to participate in Words & Music. Ms. Wells is recovering from advanced neurological Lyme’s Disease, which had severely impacted her stability and stamina. Sara Gruen read and spoke to a full house in Asheville Satury.

Spent a fantastic evening up in Asheville, NC at one of the nation’s premier independent books, Malaprops! Tonight’s book signing and reading featured Canadian Sara Gruen, who has now made Asheville her home. Gruen is the author of the huge hit Water for Elephants (now being made into a major motion picture starring Hal Holbrook, Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame). more…

When we took on designing and implementing websites for authors and soon-to-be authors, WordPress was the natural choice. It just seemed the easiest way to build a site that authors could easily manage themselves, without having to become web gurus, enabling them to continue spending the bulk of their time doing what they do best – writing!

So it was very gratifying to read a fantastic article posted at Biznik titled, “10 Reasons Your Website Should Be Built in WordPress” by Jessica Kupferman. Thanks, Jessica, for reinforcing why so many of us love working with WordPress, for ourselves and our clients!
